Questionario per progetto europeo Apache

La Fondazione Scienza e Tecnica è partner del progetto europeo Apache www.apacheproject.eu che opera nel campo della Conservazione Preventiva e in particolare per la realizzazione di soluzioni ai problemi che pone la conservazione a lungo termine degli oggetti conservati nelle vetrine e nei depositi di musei, archivi e biblioteche. Nell’ambito del progetto, vi proponiamo la partecipazione ad un questionario anonimo al termine del quale, separatamente, è possibile lasciare l’indirizzo mail per rimanere informati sulle iniziative di divulgazione e sui risultati ottenuti nell’ambito di tutto il progetto. Survey about challenges and needs in the storage and exhibition of Cultural Heritage

This survey is carried out as part of the APACHE project (Active & intelligent packaging materials and display cases as a tool for preventive conservation of Cultural Heritage), which is funded by the EU (call identifier H2020-NMBP-ST-IND-2018, Grant Agreement n° 814496).

The project aims to develop effective and affordable preventive conservation solutions for museums, galleries, libraries and archives. The research will focus on design and realization of:

• multi-scale modelling to predict Cultural Heritage degradation;
• new generation of active and intelligent storage crates, archive boxes and display cases to improve storage and exhibition;
• collaborative decision-making tools for preventive maintenance.

The activity of the APACHE project will be enhanced by the results of this survey, your input will significantly provide critical guidance. If you are interested in participating in the survey, please do so by September 30 2019. It should take about 20 minutes of your time (number of questions: 18)

This survey is addressed to: director, conservator, collection care, collection manager, curator, registrar, archivist, librarian, preventive conservation consultant, conservation scientist, professionals developing best practices, team member involved in a storage organization or reorganization project…
